20-Minute One Pot Super GARLIC Pasta
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients
4 tablespoons butter
8 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups broth (any)
1 cup milk + ¼ cup for added creamy goodness
12 ounces uncooked angel hair or vermicelli pasta
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste (about 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon pepper)
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (Asiago is also delicious!)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs
Method
- In a Dutch oven or medium saucepan with a lid, melt the butter over medium high heat.
- Add garlic and cook, stirring frequently about 2 minutes.
- Stir in broth, milk and uncooked pasta, season with salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked through 10-12 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan. If it looks too thick add the ¼ cup additional milk.
- Serve immediately and garnish with extra cheese and fresh chopped herbs.
