15-Minute Pasta
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 12 oz angel hair or vermicelli pasta
- ½ teaspoon Kosher Salt
- Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
- 10 cherry tomatoes, split in half
- 1-2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 4 T EVOO
- 4-5 leaves Basil, chiffonade
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper
- 32 oz water
Optional:
- ½ onion, diced
- Parmesan for serving
- ½ cup pre-cooked meat
Method
- Put all ingredients in a large saucepan, cook over medium high heat for 15 minutes.
- Stir regularly.
- Serve hot.
- Will not have to drain, but there will be a little water in the pan.
Tips:
I crack the noodles in half for even cooking.
I use broth or stock instead of water for a richer flavor.
