No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
Yield: 16 Bars
Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar (sub 1 cups white sugar + 1 tablespoons molasses)
1 ¾ cups powdered sugar
1 cup butter (8 tablespoons), room temperature
1 ½ cups peanut butter
1 cup milk chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips or white if you desire
Method
- Grease an 8×8 pan with butter or line with parchment.
- In a large bowl, cream brown sugar, powdered sugar, 5 tablespoons butter and peanut butter until well mixed.
- Press into the prepared pan.
- In a small, microwave-safe bowl, heat chocolate chips and remaining 2 tablespoons butter for 1 minute in 30 second intervals, stirring after each so you don’t burn the chocolate. (2 times)
- Stir carefully and continue to microwave in 30 second intervals until smooth, stirring after each.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter crust and spread evenly.
- Chill until firm, at least 3 hours or overnight.
- Let stand 10 minutes at room temperature before serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
Enjoy!

Thank you for reading Nancy!
What size pan? 8×8? Sprayed? Parchment paper?
8×8 works great! Parchment works best as you an just pull it up, cut it and store the bars. Thanks for reading Karen.
