Good Morning!\u00a0 It is a beautiful Fall day in Minnesota. The air conditioners in the house are stored in the basement, (Wait!\u00a0 What?\u00a0 Yes.), car windows are fogged up, sweaters and jeans and scarves!!!\u00a0 There are always the hardcore MN residents who wear shorts and Birkenstocks all year long…I love the season, but c’mon…really?\u00a0 Little puppies are wearing booties and sweaters. Seriously, they are.<\/p>\n

What I am most looking forward to in the next couple of weeks are the local events popping up everywhere!\u00a0 Art crawls, book signings, the Sioux Chef talk and lectures).<\/p>\n

This past summer, I was given the opportunity to be a part of a friends art show. IT WAS phenomenal!\u00a0 Her art is calming, beautiful, thought provoking, detailed and full of the joys of nature, both outdoors and within.<\/p>\n

Bri Moses is my friend, my colleague and a talented photographer. See her work Here<\/a><\/p>\n

Her gallery of photos was gorgeous and a huge success. I was delighted to be given the opportunity to provide the refreshments as admirers and potential buyers browsed the many pieces of art. Come back soon to see my recipe for Lavender Lemon Shortbread Cookies.<\/p>\n

She will be showcasing her art once again in a couple of weeks in the St. Paul art crawl<\/a> October 12th-14th at 12welve Eyes Brewing<\/a>. The first stop on the crawl! Please join us in meandering through the beautiful art our local friends bring to us.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget to purchase a piece for your office, bedroom or a few postcards to frame and hang in the family room.<\/p>\n
