{"id":2147,"date":"2021-10-13T19:49:46","date_gmt":"2021-10-14T00:49:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/?p=2147"},"modified":"2025-03-04T13:04:43","modified_gmt":"2025-03-04T19:04:43","slug":"chai-pancakes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/index.php\/2021\/10\/13\/chai-pancakes\/","title":{"rendered":"Chai Pancakes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n2 cup flour<br \/>\n1 tablespoon sugar<br \/>\n1 \u00bd teaspoons baking powder<br \/>\n1 \u00bd teaspoons baking soda<br \/>\n1 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n2 cups buttermilk<br \/>\n1\/4 cup Tijerina Global Spices Vanilla Masala Chai Latte<br \/>\n2 eggs, cracked and whisked in a small bowl<br \/>\n3 tablespoons melted butter<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Method<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.\u00a0 Make a well in the center.<\/li>\n<li>In a liquid measuring cup, combine 2 cups buttermilk Tijerina&#8217;s Chai. Pour mixture into the dry ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Add the eggs and butter and gradually whisk all ingredients until combined, careful not to over mix. Batter should have some lumps.<\/li>\n<li>Heat a non-stick pan, cast-iron pan, or griddle over medium high heat until a few drops of water sprinkled on bounce off.<\/li>\n<li>Grease the pan with butter or oil.<\/li>\n<li>Using a 1\/4 cup measuring cup, pour pancake batter onto pan.\u00a0 Typically 2-3 fit into a pan. When pancakes have bubbles on top, flip over, about 2 minutes. Cook until golden.
