{"id":1751,"date":"2020-07-17T12:37:02","date_gmt":"2020-07-17T17:37:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/?p=1751"},"modified":"2020-07-17T12:37:02","modified_gmt":"2020-07-17T17:37:02","slug":"szechuan-vegetable-stir-fry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/index.php\/2020\/07\/17\/szechuan-vegetable-stir-fry\/","title":{"rendered":"Szechuan Vegetable Stir Fry"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Szechuan Vegetable Stir Fry<\/h1>\n<p>Yield:\u00a0 4 Servings<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1-2 cups\u00a0fresh green beans<\/p>\n<p>1 cup shishito peppers<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd cup oil (canola, peanut, avocado or high heat oil)<\/p>\n<p>2 cloves garlic, minced<\/p>\n<p>2 teaspoons ginger, minced<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd onion, sliced<\/p>\n<p>5-6\u00a0Szechuan peppercorns<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon dried chili pepper flakes<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Combine for sauce:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon sesame oil<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon chili oil<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon fish sauce<\/p>\n<p>1\/8 cup soy sauce<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon rice vinegar<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon sugar<\/p>\n<p>Sesame seeds and microgreens for garish<\/p>\n<h3>Method<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Wash the beans and shishito peppers and dry off.<\/li>\n<li>Heat up oil in wok (or you can use a small deep pot) until you can see light smoke on the surface over high fire.<\/li>\n<li>Add beans and shishito peppers and fry for 3-4 minutes over medium heat.<\/li>\n<li>Stirring occasionally. They will be well deep-fried when they are wilting, and the skin is turning dark in color. Transfer out of the pan and set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Add ginger, garlic, onion, Szechuan pepper and dried chili pepper.<\/li>\n<li>Fry 1 minute.<\/li>\n<li>Return the beans and shishito along with sauce ingredients: sesame oil, chili oil, fish sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar and sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Fry until everything is well combined.
