{"id":1530,"date":"2020-06-08T20:48:56","date_gmt":"2020-06-09T01:48:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/?p=1530"},"modified":"2020-06-12T12:08:18","modified_gmt":"2020-06-12T17:08:18","slug":"rhubarb-honey-butter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/index.php\/2020\/06\/08\/rhubarb-honey-butter\/","title":{"rendered":"Rhubarb Honey Butter"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rhubarb Honey Butter<\/h2><p><strong>Yield:<\/strong> 1 cup<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h4><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Use leftover rhubarb from a <a href=\"https:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/index.php\/2020\/06\/08\/rhubarb-ginger-simple-syrup\/\">rhubarb simple syrup<\/a> (or cook down 4 cups rhubarb, 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water until softened approximately 20 minutes.)<\/li><li>\u00bd cup honey (1\/4 cup if using leftover from the simple syrup recipe)<\/li><li>1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice<\/li><li>\u00bc teaspoon cardamom<\/li><li>1 teaspoon vanilla<\/li><li>\u00bd teaspoon cinnamon<\/li><\/ul><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h4><ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>Puree the leftover rhubarb.<\/li><li>In a small saucepan add the puree.<\/li><li>Add in the honey, lemon juice, cardamom, vanilla and cinnamon and cook for 25-30 minutes.<\/li><li>Let cool.
