{"id":1253,"date":"2020-04-17T18:16:10","date_gmt":"2020-04-17T23:16:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/?p=1253"},"modified":"2020-04-17T18:16:50","modified_gmt":"2020-04-17T23:16:50","slug":"10-minute-fried-rice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/index.php\/2020\/04\/17\/10-minute-fried-rice\/","title":{"rendered":"10-Minute Fried Rice"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jessica\u2019s 10-Minute Vegetable Fried Rice<\/h3><p><strong>Yield:<\/strong> 4 Servings<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h4><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u00bc cup soy sauce<\/li><li>\u00bc cup toasted sesame oil<\/li><li>\u00bd teaspoon fresh grated ginger<\/li><li>2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced<\/li><li>\u00bd teaspoon Kosher salt<\/li><li>\u00bd teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes<\/li><li>\u00bc cup canola oil<\/li><li>4 eggs, beaten, set aside<\/li><li>1 carrot, peeled and diced<\/li><li>1\/2 cup frozen or fresh peas<\/li><li>\u00bd onion, peeled and diced<\/li><li>1 stalk celery, diced<\/li><li>4 cups cooked, cold rice<\/li><li>4 scallions, chopped<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h3><ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>In a small bowl mix soy, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, salt and red pepper flakes. Set aside.<\/li><li>Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a wok over high heat. Scramble the eggs, remove, set aside.<\/li><li>Heat 2 more tablespoons oil in the wok over high heat. Saute carrot, onion and celery.<\/li><li>Add rice and stir until rice is hot and vegetables are incorporated.<\/li><li>Add sauce mixture you set aside earlier. Wok fry the rice.<\/li><li>Stir fry to heat thoroughly. Add additional oil if needed.<\/li><li>Serve hot.
