{"id":1242,"date":"2020-04-12T15:26:14","date_gmt":"2020-04-12T20:26:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/?p=1242"},"modified":"2020-04-12T15:26:18","modified_gmt":"2020-04-12T20:26:18","slug":"pesto-reinforced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/index.php\/2020\/04\/12\/pesto-reinforced\/","title":{"rendered":"Pesto &#8211; Reinforced"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Toasted Walnut Pesto w\/Spinach, Radish Greens and Peas<\/h4><p><strong>Yield:<\/strong> 3 cups pesto<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2.5 oz fresh Basil (about 3.5 cups)<\/li><li>2.5 oz fresh Spinach (about 3.5 cups)<\/li><li>2 oz fresh Radish Greens <em>(about 2 cups or leaves from one bunch of radishes)<\/em><\/li><li>8 oz (1 cup) green peas<\/li><li>1 cup Walnuts, toasted<\/li><li>1 \u00bd cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil<\/li><li>2-3 teaspoons Kosher Salt<\/li><li>1 cup Parmesan-Reggiano, shredded<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p><ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>In a food processor pulse greens, peas, walnuts, oil and salt.<\/li><li>Scrape down sides of the bowl and pulse 1-2 more times.<\/li><li>Add Parmesan-Reggiano and pulse 1-2 more times.<\/li><li>You now have pesto!&nbsp; Salt it to your taste.<\/li><\/ol><p><em>*Freeze up to 6 months.
