{"id":1214,"date":"2020-04-07T13:19:16","date_gmt":"2020-04-07T18:19:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/?p=1214"},"modified":"2020-04-07T13:19:21","modified_gmt":"2020-04-07T18:19:21","slug":"dinner-rolls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jessicatijerina.com\/index.php\/2020\/04\/07\/dinner-rolls\/","title":{"rendered":"Dinner Rolls"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dinner Rolls<\/h3><p><strong>Yield: <\/strong>12 rolls<\/p><p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p><p>2 cups all-purpose flour, or more if needed<\/p><p>1 packet rapid rise or quick rise yeast<\/p><p>2 tablespoons sugar<\/p><p>\u00bd teaspoon salt<\/p><p>\u00bd cup milk<\/p><p>\u00bc cup water<\/p><p>2 tablespoons unsalted butter<\/p><p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p><ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>Grease an 8-inch round pan.<\/li><li>In a large bowl of an electric stand mixer, combine \u00be cup flour, yeast, sugar and salt.<\/li><li>Heat milk, water and butter until very warm (105-115 degrees F). Add to flour mixture.<\/li><li>Beat 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally.<\/li><li>Stop mixer and add \u00bc cup flour; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.<\/li><li>Knead on a lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8 to 10 minutes. Cover; let rest 10 minutes.<\/li><li>Divide dough into 12 equal pieces and shape into balls. Place in greased 8-inch round pan.<\/li><li>Cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.<\/li><li>Bake in preheated 375 degrees F oven for 20 minutes or until done.
